I’m pretty sure we all know what planting rice looks like.
What surprised me about the process was where the grain is dried: Anywhere and everywhere.
They spread the grain on the road, on their front yard, where their pigs are kept. Seriously anywhere and everywhere. But have no fear! The grain still has to be husked and cooked. That should remove most of the stuff it sits in while drying, right?
