So, what was in that Poste Restante parcel? Why it was a copy of our friend Danny Wattin’s latest book Ursäkta, men din själ dog nyss. It is Danny’s third published book, and his second published novel.
Having read the book in a rougher, earlier draft, I am looking forward to see how he finished his project. No doubt it will be full of absurdism and a voluptuous sense of humor, with colorful characters and unusual plot twists. Swedish media often describe his style as close to that of Douglas Adams or Kurt Vonnegut. I’d like to champion that his style is reminiscent of Swedish beat generation poet and jazz musician Sture Dahstrom.
Sadly the book is only available in Swedish, but we’ll let you know if it gets translated!
