House Hunting – Day II

Today, we looked at three properties: two full-service, two bedroom apartments in an attractive neighborhood, and one hideously decorated bungalow far out into the suburbs.

I guess it’s safe to say that we’ve narrowed our search down to the two service apartments.

It’ll cost us something like 650 USD per month to live here, and that includes all utilities, house keeping, internet and I think one of the prospective landlords was ready to toss in free milk deliveries and a morning paper. The apartments are located in an area popular with diplomats and NGO types, so we wouldn’t be the only westerners around.

So we’ve narrowed it down to two. Decision: imminent.
